Dayco Adds to Supply Chain, Sales, Product Management Teams

Dayco, an engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, has added six industry professionals in the last several months, the company announced.

The six new hires bring decades of aftermarket experience in the areas of supply chain, category management, business development and product management.

The new appointments include:

  • Paulo Silva do Vale, senior manager, North America supply chain: Responsible for leading and growing Dayco's sales, inventory and operations capabilities, helping drive measurable improvements in service levels, inventory optimization, forecast accuracy and working capital performance.
  • Ty Billie, U.S. territory sales manager: As an integral part of the light-duty wholesale customer channel, Billie brings automotive aftermarket sales and account management experience to his role, where he will be responsible for leading customer growth initiatives, managing key national account relationships and driving strategic business improvements.
  • Mark Kostecki, category manager: With experience in automotive category and product management, Kostecki will be working as the liaison between customers and Dayco's product, catalog, sales and finance teams. He will be responsible for analyzing internal, customer and market data to effectively increase product coverage and customer profitability. 
  • John Blazo, category manager: Blazo has spent his career working in automotive sales and category management roles, and will work closely with Dayco's traditional and heavy-duty customer segments, further developing and maintaining reporting tools to help drive sales excellence and channel growth.
  • Garrett Lowrance, manager, supply chain planning: With expertise in supply chain planning, logistics and inventory management, Lowrance is responsible for strengthening supply planning and execution, and improving forecast accuracy and inventory performance. He brings a disciplined, data‑driven approach to business planning and continuous improvement. 
  • Bill Mortimore, industrial product manager: Responsible for managing all industrial and performance products, Mortimore brings three decades of automotive product management experience to his role, including portfolio strategy, commercialization, supplier strategy, pricing, new product launches and cross-functional execution.
